Welcome to the TIS Library!
Where Cougars read, learn and create!
The TIS Library aims to promote literacy and connectedness across the students, teachers, and families of TIS and support 21st century learning skills in order to cultivate a community of readers, learners, and creators.
Be sure to check out the TIS Reads Library Website
for more information, resources, and reading fun!
The TIS Library is proud to provide a variety of print and digital resources on a variety of topics to meet the needs of all readers! We have Graphic Novels, Biographies, Popular Series, Books in Spanish, and much, much more!
Students may check out up to 4 books for 3 weeks.
Students have the option to renew books if they aren't finished reading them.
Students will visit the library during ELA every 2 weeks.
Books that are overdue for more than 8 weeks are emailed to parents weekly.
Students are responsible for all books checked out from the library.
Accidents do happen: books sometimes get lost, or severely damaged. Please remember that students and staff are responsible for books checked out from the library. Lost books or severely damaged/soaked books must be paid in full so that the book may be purchased again for others to read. Thank you for understanding!
If a book is lost or severely damaged, please:
Reach out to Ms. Melson, the librarian, to arrange payment via KEV, the School Cash Online system.
