About Dr. Khan

Hi TIS Cougars! My name is Myriam Quintero Khan, and it's a privilege to serve as one of the Assistant Principals of Tomball Intermediate School. My passion for education stems from my desire to ensure that all students feel they have adults around them that want to see them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Before coming to TIS, I've had an opportunity to serve in the following teaching and educational leadership roles: Bilingual and Spanish teacher, Dropout Prevention Advisor, ATCP Field Supervisor, Assistant Principal, Adjunct Instructor, and Educational Researcher.  I earned a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s degree in Education Administration from St. Thomas University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University.

I am proud mom of twin sons who attend Tomball Junior High, and proudly married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years.

I look forward to collaborating with you and to build a strong home-to-school connection that will help our students achieve their full potential!
