Great Expectations/Grading Guidelines

Great Expectations/ 8 Expectations

All students are expected to follow the classroom  rules. They are as follows:

Expectation 1- We will value on another as unique and special individuals.

Expectation 2- We will not laugh at or make fun of a person's mistake nor use sarcasm or put downs.

Expectation 3- We will use good manners, saying, “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me” and allow others to go first.

Expectation 4- We will cheer each other to success.

Expectation 5- We will help one another whenever possible.

Expectation 6- We will recognize every effort and applaud it.

Expectation 7- We will encourage each other to do our best.

Expectation 8- We will practice virtuous living, using the Life Principles.

I run the class on a three strike policy. All students will get 3 warnings and before they receive a conduct mark.  If there is a consistent recurring issue, the parent will be contacted. If the issues continue, the office will be involved. With the way the class runs and with the expectation being set in the first week of school, there usually are not that many classroom issues.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
